I replaced the tires on the TW200. The front tires were cupping in a bad way, and the rear tires were worn down to the last quarter of an inch. I replaced them with the same tires that were on there (Bridgestone TW34 on the rear, and a shink 4-18.00 size tire). These tires has tubes inside of them, and they had fairly stiff sidewalls, so I spent a good hour wrestling with them. On top of that, I did not have a bead breaker, so I had to use a hammer. Popping the bead off with the hammer was not easy either. Overall it was a simple task, but it was difficult because I did not have my shop full of tools that I normally use.
The TW on the stand. I can use a scissor jack with this bike.
Old vs new rear tire. The old one is on the right. You can see how worn it is.
Rear tire off the wheel. The rear wheel is a 14 inch wheel.
New rear tire on the rear wheel. This was a difficult one because of how small it was.
Old vs new front tire. The old tire is on the right. The old tire has some cupping (The tread is beginning to wear in a weird way).
New tires on the TW200!
