Quite a lot has happened in the 3ish weeks or so that I’ve posted anything. My new job has had me undergoing months upon months of training, and I’m within less than 6 months of finally being at the end of it. I’m fairly happy with my career path, as it has opened up numerous opportunities, and I finally feel like I have a stable future ahead of me.
As for the personal stuff and hobbies, I have a few updates:
-
I will be updating the vehicles tab with a bunch of updates, mostly on the battle bus, but a few on some of my colleague’s vehicles. The battle bus is slowly being turned into a B A T T L E B U S, and it has a bright, bright future (Pun intended, you’ll see).

Video games: I’ve finally finished Legend of Zelda, Tears of the Kingdom. I….. have a lot to say about it. I’m writing that I completed it here as a reminder that I need to blog about my thoughts on it. I might even have to combine my promised, in-depth analysis on Breath of the Wild into a comprehensive review of the Wilds Era. Or I might just make it two separate blogs. I have yet to decide. However, I have started playing Breath of the Wild AGAIN because it is such an amazing game.

Fitness: Oh boy. I’ve crested 180 lbs, and I have not been working out. As stated above, my training for my new job has been pretty intensive, and I haven’t had a consistent workout schedule. I went for a 3 mile run today, and my average pace per mile was 7:26. I also have been to the gym maybe like 8 times in the last 8 months. These next 6 ish months are going to be fairly easy going compared to the last 8 months, so I’ll get myself back into shape. However, if you can, try to take care of your body. As for the shoes that I mentioned last time: They’re great. It’s been raining consistently around where I live, and I’ll just go walk around in the rain storm, and my feet will be nice and dry. I’d highly recommend getting trail shoes if you live anywhere wet. I used to be someone who’d thug out wet feet, but recently I’ve realized that I don’t need to, and my life is a lot happier. I’ve also been wearing an ankle brace on my left ankle for about 4 months now. I went with a brand recommended to me by a sports fitness instructor (Aryse), and it’s been a decently ok brace. My only complaint is that it doesn’t fit into work boots all that well, so I either have to opt for some generic brand, or not where my brace in my boots. However, the brace was so good, that I ordered a knee brace for my right knee (The knee I sprained my patella on laying the TW down years ago).
Overall my mental health is good. As I said a few months ago, I haven’t had any gloomy days. I’ve begun psychoanalyzing myself (great idea, I know), but I’ve come to realize that a lot of my troubles are just in my head, and that I need to get over them by just accepting that things are the way they are.
This next week is the last hard week of my current section of training. I have no clue what the next 6 months will entail, but I suspect that I’ll be able to blog more consistently, muse more often, and build the battle bus and TW into respectable war rigs and recon bikes respectively.
